The Rapha Trade Team Jersey is one of the most celebrated limited editions in Rapha's history — a short-sleeve race jersey built to Pro Team specification and designed as a loving tribute to the iconic teams of professional cycling's 1980s golden era. This is the La Vie Claire colourway, inspired by the Bauhaus-influenced kit worn by Greg LeMond and Bernard Hinault during one of cycling's most legendary rivalries at the 1986 Tour de France. Rapha's interpretation preserves the bold geometric colour-blocking of the original — large panels of red, white, charcoal, and near-black — arranged in a composition that echoes the Mondrian-inspired design created by Benetton for La Vie Claire. The chest features an outline of Oakley-style goggles, referencing LeMond's pioneering use of the eyewear that would come to define a generation. On the left sleeve, the Arc En Ciel globe logo nods to LeMond's Rainbow Jersey status as World Champion, while the Rapha script appears in contrasting pale tones on the right sleeve cuff. Turn to the back and the rear pockets are finished with a tone-on-tone star print, another layer of hidden design detail. Built on the same platform as the Rapha Pro Team Jersey, the Trade Team offers a race fit with full-length zip, three rear pockets, a concealed valuables zip pocket, and silicone hem grippers.
