A carved hardwood coat rack with the hooks in the form of elephant heads. The rack has two hooks which are fixed to a plank backing. It is of African in origin and mid century or later in period. Great fun and an unusual piece. Condition - Minor wear with some scuffs and scratches in keeping with use, mostly to the back plate. Some old screw holes in the back plate from previous fixing.
