A lovely unusual vintage souvenir/collectible doll dressed as an English soldier, wearing his original-style red uniform with gold trim, crown badge, black hat and red boots. I found a very similar example online described as a 1960s English Soldier souvenir doll, and this doll appears to be the same or a very similar design. Please note: the original staff/cane is missing. Condition Vintage condition with signs of age and wear, which should be expected with a doll of this age. There are: Light marks/wear to the face A noticeable mark/paint loss to the top of the head Some paint chips/wear to the feet/boots Loose stitching to the shoulder General age-related wear to the clothing, trim and doll Staff/cane is missing Please look carefully at all photographs, as they form part of the description and show the condition and imperfections.
