STUNNING & RARE vintage Bordallo Pinheiro double leaf dish in the highly sought-after PINK glaze 💖🌿 Proper collectible Portuguese majolica by the iconic Bordallo Pinheiro factory, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. This is the double begonia / geranium leaf model with twisted branch handle - perfect for olives, nuts, sweets, trinkets or as a statement pin dish / tablescaping piece. • Maker: Bordallo Pinheiro, C. Rainha, Portugal - stamped mark on base with cockerel logo (see photo) • Pattern: Begonia / Vine Leaf - double dish with branch handle • Colour: Bubblegum / baby pink - much rarer than the green cabbage ware! • Material: Earthenware majolica, glazed • Age: 1960s / 70s • Size: 9 inches long x 5.5 inches wide (23cm x 14cm) - large statement size • Mould no: 400 / 26 on base Condition: Good vintage condition. No big chips or cracks. Has all-over fine crazing to glaze (normal for age) and a couple of tiny flea bites to the leaf tips / glaze nibbles as shown. Feet show some wear. Displays beautifully. This retails for £60+ in vintage shops. Cabbageware / fruit & leaf ceramics are so on trend right now for tablescaping. Smoke free home. Will be very well wrapped - this is heavy pottery!
