Vintage Abbey Pewter No. 1007 Tankard / Mug An attractive vintage English pewter tankard produced under the Abbey Pewter name, associated with Osborne & Co of Sheffield. A lovely traditional piece featuring: * Hand-hammered style body * Decorative curved cast handle with scroll detail * Rolled rim * Stepped circular base * Original dark aged pewter patina * Clearly marked underneath “Abbey Pewter 1007” * Weight approximately 210g * Dating from approximately the 1920s–1930s A nice example of inter-war British pewter and an interesting decorative piece for a pewter, metalware or vintage barware collection. Condition Good vintage condition with age-related surface wear, scratches, marks, oxidation and patination throughout. There is visible internal oxidation/discolouration consistent with its age and material. It has deliberately not been polished, preserving the aged finish.
