Genuine Manchester United 1997–99 Umbro away shirt, featuring one of the most recognisable United designs of the late 90s. Classic white design with the black and red horizontal detailing, embroidered Umbro branding, Manchester United crest and the iconic Sharp Viewcam sponsor across the front. The back features SCHOLES #18. The shirt itself is genuine and has been independently authenticated by KitLegit. The Scholes nameset appears to be a later aftermarket addition rather than an original period Umbro/Lextra application, and shows cracking from age and wear — something I’ve deliberately reflected in the description and price. Overall, the shirt remains in very good vintage condition and presents brilliantly for its age. A cracking piece from the treble-era build-up years and a great shirt for any United or 90s football shirt collection.
