Vintage Mattel Crystal Ken doll, believed to be model #4898 from the 1983/1984 Crystal Barbie range. This classic Ken has dark moulded side-parted hair, blue eyes and a smiling face, and is wearing part of his original formal Crystal Ken outfit. He has cream satin-style trousers, a pale shirt front, shiny iridescent waistcoat and purple satin tie. The doll is marked © Mattel Inc. 1968 / Taiwan. The 1968 marking relates to the Mattel mould copyright rather than necessarily being the production year of this particular doll. Pre-owned vintage condition with visible age and play wear. There are marks and discolouration to the cream trousers, marks to the face/body and wear around the feet. The clothing also has some fraying and the fastening/button at the back does not close properly. Shoes, jacket and other original accessories are not included.
