Vintage. Royal Air Force. War Service / Battledress Blouse. Made in England. Manufactured by J. Harvey. Constructed of a wool serge. Regular collar. Button fastening. The ribbon on the chest suggests the wearer saw service in Europe after D-Day. There is also a Polish Air Force button fastening the right epaulet - which was possibly a gift from a Polish pilot. Condition: There are some signs of age related wear to the wool, a button missing to the placket and one from the front right chest pocket. Size: Label reads 7. Measurements. Armpit to armpit: 21". Nape of the neck to hem: 20.5'. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 16". Shoulder seam to cuff: 23".
