Beautiful vintage OMC Japan stoneware tea set by Otagiri Mercantile Company, comprising a lidded teapot and 6 matching cups. The set has a lovely earthy brown and bronze glaze with contrasting cream interiors and bold black Japanese-style calligraphy decoration. The teapot features a traditional woven rattan/bamboo handle, removable lid and elegant pouring spout. The original OMC Japan label is still present on the base, confirming the maker.
